Apple has asked a federal court to add six more products to its patent infringement lawsuit against Samsung, including the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II.

Knight plight

Knight Capital CEO Thomas Joyce, in response to a Wall Street Journal report, told employees in an e-mail it was premature to think that its largest unit would be sold, sources said. The Journal, citing sources, reported that Getco and Virtu Financial LLC may bid for Knight’s market-making unit.

High Dubai

Dubai’s ruler announced plans for a development boasting the world’s biggest shopping mall and gardens 30 percent larger than London’s Hyde Park, as the emirate revives property projects on hold since the global financial crisis. The project near central Dubai, to be built by Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding, is to include as many as 100 hotels.
