Lawyer’s Audi bursts into flames while parking

A lawyer’s luxury Audi burst into flames as he was parking near City Hall Park today.

Personal-injury lawyer Cesar Callan, 55, was driving to work in his convertible, dark-gray S4 sedan on Broadway near Park Place around 11:30 a.m. when his vehicle started smoking and someone yelled out to him, “Your car’s on fire!’’ Callan’s wife told The Post.

The lawyer had been circling the block because his usual parking garage was closed from an earlier fatal elevator accident there, Callan’s wife said.

Callan managed to pulled over his vehicle in front of the Woolworth Building and flee before the car was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters quickly got the blaze under control, a spokesman for the FDNY said.

The car’s whole front end was destroyed.

“It’s burnt to a crisp,” Callan told his wife.

No one was injured.
