Mitt and Ann Romney adjusting to election loss

Sure, he was governor of Massachusetts — but Boston Market for Thanksgiving?

Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney hunkered down in his La Jolla, Calif., mansion for the holiday, ordering out from the fast-food chain to feed his big family, a report said yesterday.

A friend told The Washington Post that the almost-first family got their turkey dinner from Boston Market because there were too many kids around the house to cook.

Sans his trademark hair gel, Romney is staying busy and in shape by running and cycling — and even offering to clean an executive friend’s bedpan after liver surgery.

But his wife, Ann, is having a much tougher time. She has been crying in private about the loss of what she thought was her destiny as first lady, friends said.
