Verdict today in bus deaths

They’re guilty — of delaying the verdict.

Bronx jurors yesterday reached a decision in the trial of a casino-bus driver who crashed in The Bronx, killing 15 passengers, but a judge decided to wait a day before making it public — because one panelist had a doctor’s appointment.

Judge Troy Webber had the verdict sheet sealed and it will be read this morning.

Ophadell Williams, 42, is charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide after losing control of the bus on Interstate 95 on March 12, 2011.
