A neat gift for the office slob is now right at your fingertips

Do you have a messy co-worker who’s inclined to spill coffee, soda and other potentially damaging beverages all over his computer keyboard?

Then you might want to consider giving him the Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 for the holidays. If you spill coffee, soda or ketchup on Logitech’s device, you can easily rinse it off in warm water. If the liquids have been left on longer, you may need to scrub a bit to get them off. Logitech suggests you use warm water (less than 120 F), mild soap and a soft cloth to hand-wash the keyboard; it is not dishwasher-safe.

Logitech’s device can even be submerged in up to 11 inches of water and still work. The only part of the keyboard that can’t be soaked is the USB cable used to connect it to your computer, and Logitech includes a cap that can protect the connector from splashes of water. Drainage holes on the keyboard help it air-dry.

Logitech’s design also features space between its raised keys, allowing you to more easily remove small pieces of food, dirt or debris, even without water. A detachable cleaning brush is attached to the bottom of the keyboard.

The letters and numbers on the keys won’t be damaged by repeated cleanings.

Logitech’s keyboard costs $40 and is designed to be compatible with PCs running Windows XP, Vista or 7 but works fairly well with Windows 8 and Macs.
