Prosecutors: Let ex-stripper rot for plotting husband slay

A former stripper who organized the “sadistic” killings of her millionaire husband and his mother should rot behind bars, federal prosecutors said today.

Narcy Novack and her thug brother, Cristobal Veliz, “are evil; they are dangerous; they are remorseless; and they are relentless. They should – without question – both be sentenced to life imprisonment,” prosecutors said in a pre-sentencing report.

Novack, 55, and Veliz, 58, were convicted earlier this year of plotting the savage beating deaths of Bernice Novack at her Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. home and Ben Novack at a hotel in Rye Brook.

Bernice, 86, was bludgeoned with an iron wrench in 2009. Two months later, on explicit orders from Novack, hired killers sliced her hotel heir husband’s eyes with a utility knife and beat him to death with dumbbells.

Prosecutors believe she was worried that Ben would divorce her and leave her with nothing, and that she orchestrated the killings so she could gain control of his $10 million fortune.

Novack had previously smeared her husband, telling authorities he ran an immigration marriage fraud ring, had a sexual fetish for amputees and had arranged for her to get breast implants without her knowledge.

Novack and her brother tried to pin her husband’s murder on her own daughter, “an entirely innocent party in all of this,” and tried to have her killed as well, the feds said. Both Novack and Veliz are “pathological liars and sociopaths” who should be put away “for the rest of their lives,” prosecutors said.

The lawyer for Novack said he’d respon in court. Novack and Veliz are scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 17.
