Divorce-wife suit: In-law made my life hell

He was an interferer-in-law.

A Brooklyn woman claims her marriage was turbulent enough on its own without her husband’s father getting involved.

Sanja Nixon alleges her father-in-law, Florida lawyer Jary Nixon, plotted with his son Justin to ruin the couple’s marriage and boot her from their Brooklyn apartment.

Sanja Nixon charges that her husband physically abused her, destroyed her belongings, bit her, screamed at her, and frequently accused her of cheating on him during their bizarre union, even going so far as to “intentionally draw threatening creatures on the walls” of their home, according to a Brooklyn Supreme Court lawsuit she filed against her father-in-law.

Sanja and Justin are in the midst of a divorce, but Sanja Nixon is suing her father-in-law for “acting in concert” with his son to orchestrate the alleged abuse, which “humiliated and degraded” her, court papers say.

An order of protection allegedly did not stop the abuse, Sanja Nixon claims in court papers, which accuse her father-in-law of threatening her if she went to police.

Jary Nixon did not return a message seeking comment. Justin Nixon could not be reached for comment.
