He was Justin Bieber’s “Lonely Girl” — in prison.

The child rapist-murderer who plotted to castrate and kill the Biebs in New York City was furious with the pop star for ignoring his jailhouse love letters, court records reveal.

Dana Martin, 45, told cops he “had become infatuated” with the 18-year-old singer, according to a New Mexico affidavit seeking the arrest of ex-con Mark Staake, 41, one of the men recruited for the job.

“Mr. Martin stated that he had attempted to solicit correspondence on numerous occasions . . . and [Bieber] never returned in kind,” cops wrote.

“This perceived slight made Mr. Martin upset and that, coupled with Mr. Martin’s perception of being a ‘nobody’ in prison, led him to begin plotting the kidnap and murder.”

Bieber’s personal bodyguard was also marked for death to make the tween idol an easier target, cops said.

Martin — who has a large tattoo of Bieber on his leg — offered $2,500 for each of Bieber’s testicles, which were to be snipped off with a pair of Fiskars Durasharp pruning shears last month, records show.

Staake’s nephew Tanner Ruane, 23, talked about “adopting these dogs” in a police-monitored call with Martin on Nov. 20 — referring to killing and castrating Bieber and three others, cops wrote.

“Mr. Ruane stated that Mr. Staake was going to handle the ‘whole putting down of the dogs, and I [Mr. Ruane] was going to ‘snip, snip,’ ” police wrote.

Martin is serving life in a New Mexico prison for the 2000 rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl. He met Staake behind bars and persuaded him to take part in his plan to rub out Bieber.

Staake — who was due to be paroled in October — told Martin he wanted to bring his nephew Ruane “into the deal,” the affidavit sad.

Before killing Bieber and his bodyguard, Staake and Ruane were supposed to strangle two men in Vermont with a paisley neck tie — Martin’s preferred murder weapon — before heading to the Bieber hit in New York, according to the affidavit.

Staake and Ruane left Albuquerque on Nov. 14, Martin told cops. Within a week, Martin notified a prison guard and cops the men were “on their way to Vermont to commit two murders,” the affidavit said.

On Nov. 19, Border Patrol officers ran a check on Staake and Ruane after the would-be assassins missed the last exit in Vermont and ended up at the Canadian line.

Staake was arrested because of a New Mexico probation violation. Ruane was let go and drove to New York state a week before Bieber’s Madison Square Garden concert.

Martin called Ruane, and the would-be hit man said he did not want to go forward with the plan without Staake.

“When told by Mr. Martin that ‘it’s gonna end her,’ Mr. Ruane stated, ‘F–k! Dude, this pisses me off so bad, brother! I wanted this s–t to go down so bad,’ ” the affidavit said.

Ruane was busted at a gas station in Rotterdam on Nov. 20. Inside his BMW, cops found the pruning shears and information about the two intended victims in Vermont.

Both he and Staake are awaiting extradition to New Mexico on charges of conspiring to commit the murders.
