Anthony a ‘game-time’ decision for Knicks tonight

Carmelo Anthony (sprained ankle) is a “game-time decision’’ vs. Jeremy Lin and the Rockets, coach Mike Woodson said.

Anthony didn’t participate in the morning shootaround, staying back in the trainer’s room for more treatment and Chris Copeland wore the starter’s jersey.

“No question, if he’s able to come out and play, he’s definitely going to try it,’’ Raymond Felton said. “He definitely wants to be out there. He’s like me. He never wants to sit out a game.’’

Anthony rested in the Cleveland victory and has missed 3 of the Knicks’ 23 games this season. The Knicks are 2-1 in those games, losing only a tight affair in Chicago.

Anthony missed Saturday’s Cleveland victory after spraining his left ankle Thursday against the Lakers.

Anthony and Lin never meshed on the court and in July called Houston’s offer sheet “a ridiculous contract.” Anthony clarified last month he was talking about its structure, not the $25 million total.

Anthony was taken aback by the attention Lin received last season and became agitated during the All-Star Weekend media availability when the first five questions to him were about Lin.
