Katie Holmes forgot her lines!
The 34-year-old actress froze on stage while delivering a key speech in the second act of her Broadway play “Dead Accounts,” she told David Letterman last night on The Late Show.
“I said the first line —and I’m looking at Judy Greer and I’m supposed to be angry at her— and then the second line I didn’t remember. And I didn’t remember the third one… I just looked at [Greer] like, Ah!” she said as she reenacted her terrified face.
The “Batman Begins” star proved quick on her feet though and ad-libbed her way through the monologue. But it “felt like a good hour” before she could get back in the swing of things, she said.
