Survivor’s FEMA ‘murder’ threat

A fed-up survivor of Hurricane Sandy was charged yesterday with threatening to kill a FEMA inspector because he hadn’t received assistance after losing his home and possessions to the storm.

Douglas Mooney, 41, of Amityville, LI, allegedly phoned an IRS office on Nov. 21 and told a customer-service rep: “I’m at the point where I’m going to f–king kill the FEMA inspector when he gets to my house. I’m gonna kill him with a gun.”

Mooney confessed during an interview that “I may have threatened them, but I don’t remember saying I was going to shoot anybody.”
