Schizo fraud doc gets 3 years

At least she’ll have plenty of company.

A Harlem doctor was sentenced yesterday to three years in prison for drug crimes she claims were committed by one of her many alter egos.

Diana Williamson’s lawyer attacked the punishment as “monstrous,” “shameful” and “tantamount to a death sentence” after the sickly doc was immediately locked up to begin serving her time.

Defense lawyer Jonathan Marks also blasted Manhattan federal Chief Judge Loretta Preska for failing to “understand the significance” of Williamson’s mental illness, which she blames on childhood abuse by a pedophile priest.

In court, Marks unsuccessfully argued that federal prison authorities would be unable to care for Williamson’s many physical ailments, including a “highly infectious” case of pneumonia.

Williamson — who has been diagnosed with “dissociative identity disorder,” formerly known as multiple-personality disorder — pleaded guilty earlier this year to defrauding Medicaid out of $300,000 by writing bogus prescriptions for a drug ring.
