Young girl pinned in 3-car accident saved by good Samaritans

A young girl riding her scooter on the sidewalk in Brooklyn this evening was struck in a wild three-car accident and pinned underneath one vehicle — but she was rescued after a group of good Samaritans lifted the car off her, authorities and witnesses said.

The victim was riding with her mother walking besides her when a livery cab struck a sedan at Livonia and Rockaway avenues in Brownsville — sending the second car flying onto the sidewalk, witnesses said.

A third car was also struck in the accident, which occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m.

“We were all standing in the cashing place and then were heard a loud boom. Then there was another boom” said Keith Anderson, one of the good Samaritans.

“We ran outside and we saw the mother. She was yelling, ‘My baby, my baby!’” Anderson, 51, told The Post.

Another one of the heroes, Arthur Lane, 41, said the child — who looked to be about 10-years-old — stayed calm despite being in terrible pain.

“She was conscious. She was just looking up at us saying, “Please get this car off of me.’ ”

It took at least seven men two tries to lift the light-colored sedan off the child.

“On the second lift, the mother slid her out from under the car,” Anderson said.

“Her legs were twisted up in an “X” formation. I never saw anything like this in my life,” he said.

Six victims — including the child — were rushed to area hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known.

Cops said they were investigating.
