A thug savagely beat a Bronx woman in her building elevator and fled with her purse, cops said yesterday.
The robber followed his petite 57-year-old victim into the elevator of her Washington Avenue building Thursday morning and jumped her when the elevator reached her floor, cops said.
Surveillance video released by the police shows the goon throwing her to the floor and pummeling her face before fleeing.
Cops described the punk as a black male in his late teens about 5-foot-11 with a black Polo jacket and black sweat pants.
