Gal stole from disabled

QUEENSBURY, NY — An upstate woman who was an administrator for an agency that served disabled people was convicted of stealing thousands of dollars from the agency’s clients.

According to the Glens Falls Post-Star, 38-year-old Kimberly Breault, of Queensbury, was found guilty of 10 counts of petty larceny last week after a trial in Town Court.

She had been accused of withdrawing money from the bank accounts of clients of Warren-Washington ARC.

The thefts occurred in 2008 and 2009. ARC Executive Director John Von Ahn said between $4,000 and $6,000 was stolen from as many as 12 clients. He said the clients have been reimbursed by ARC.

Breault could face up to two years in jail when she’s sentenced Jan. 28.
