The Ravens’ defense destroyed the Giants offense, as Eli Manning and Co. were totally held down for the second straight week. The Giants had no turnovers, but they only managed one scoring drive before garbage time and could not get Victor Cruz or Hakeem Nicks involved.
UNSUNG HERO
Free of any pressure from the Giants’ defensive front, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco had no problem in leading his team on seven scoring drives. Flacco was terrific, completing 25 of 36 passes for 309 yards while throwing for two touchdowns and running for a third.
ZERO
Yeesh. For the second straight game, there were culprits aplenty. And because of that, the zero goes to Tom Coughlin, whose team has been demolished in consecutive weeks, putting the Giants’ playoff chances in serious peril. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell isn’t absent from blame either.
