Bus terminal reopens after partial evacuation

Authorities say the Port Authority bus terminal in Manhattan has been reopened.

The terminal’s south wing was evacuated and buses were halted after a gas odor was reported around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman says it was declared safe and reopened around 9 a.m.

Buses had discharged passengers along 10th Avenue instead of inside the terminal.
