Feds will seize Peter Madoff’s mansion — unless a buyer steps in first

The last of Peter Madoff’s lavish properties will soon get snapped up by the feds — unless a buyer steps in first.

US marshals will take possession of prison-bound Madoff’s exclusive Old Westbury estate on Jan. 29.

The five-bedroom palace at 8 Pheasant Run is on the market for $4.99 million.

Madoff, 67, and wife Marion just sold their 975 Park Ave. co-op for $4.6 million — about $500,000 more than what they paid in 2004 — only to turn the money over to the government.

Madoff, the younger brother of Ponzi monster Bernie Madoff, and a convicted co-schemer in his multibillion-dollar fraud, also hasn’t yet sold his Ferrari 355 Spyder, which he bought for $140,000 in 1995.

Peter is scheduled to begin his 10-year prison sentence on Feb. 6, for falsifying records. It was delayed so he could attend his granddaughter’s bat mitzvah this month.Marion Madoff, who had a no-show job at Bernard L. Madoff Securities, was allowed to keep $771,733 for her retirement, according to the feds.
