An 87-year-old man saw his beloved golden retriever tragically killed last night after both were struck by an SUV in Queens, cops said.
The injured senior was rushed to Long Island Jewish Medical Center after being hit by a Toyota RAV4. He was treated for two broken legs and a broken pelvis.
The incident, which cops deemed an accident, occurred around 6:40 p.m. on the corner of 76th Avenue and Commonwealth Boulevard in Glen Oaks.
“[They] came out of nowhere in the middle of the street,” the female driver told The Post.
