Wallace to sit tonight for Nets

The Nets will be without Gerald Wallace when they take on the Pacers in Brooklyn tonight.

Wallace left Friday’s 99-79 victory over the Suns with bruised ribs following a hard fall after he was fouled by Phoenix forward P.J. Tucker while going to the rim on a fast break midway through the first quarter.

The Nets also could be without Deron Williams, who is questionable for tonight after suffering a right quad contusion early in the third quarter Friday. Williams banged into Suns point guard Goran Dragic on a drive, though Williams was able to remain in the game.

After Mirza Teletovic (illness) and Jerry Stackhouse (sore right hamstring) sat out Friday, both are probable for tonight. The status of Kris Humphries, however, is up in the air, after he was listed as a game-time decision with a sore left ankle.

* The Nets did not practice yesterday. … Voting for the starters in next month’s All-Star Game in Houston ends at 11:59 tomorrow night. Williams is the only Net within shouting distance of a starting spot in the game, but despite being third among Eastern Conference guards in the voting, he was more than 300,000 votes behind the Celtics’ Rajon Rondo for the Eastern Conference’s second starting spot alongside the Heat’s Dwyane Wade.
