WATCH: Bat- and tire iron-wielding thugs nearly beat Greenwich Village man to death

Two Brooklyn men and and four cowardly accomplices nearly beat a man to death in Greenwich Village over the weekend, authorities said today.

Hatem Farsakh, 24, and Sherif Rizk, 22, were both charged with attempted murder, assault and gang assault in connection to a brutal beatdown Sunday morning in front of 95 MacDougal St., police said.

Farsakh was being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond and $5,000 bail. Rizk was just arrested this morning.

Cops are still searching for the four other men who helped Farsakh and Rizk, officials said.

The six men used a baseball bat, tire iron and blackjack during the 5:14 a.m. beating, police said.

The victim was taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center with a fractured skull and internal bleeding, law enforcement sources said.

“The defendant [Farsakh] and his compatriots’ conduct resulted in substantial bleeding, swelling, loss of consciousness, and a fractured skull” to the victim, according to the criminal complaint.
