Dunkin’ Donuts said it would open shops in southern California in 2015 in its long-awaited return to the state it left more than a decade ago. Shares closed up 2.6 percent to $34.89.

AMD suit

Advanced Micro Devices, a maker of processors for PCs, sued former employees, claiming they took “sensitive” company documents when they went to work for a competitor, Nvidia, according to a filing.
