A 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a Sheepshead Bay woman, cops said yesterday.

Lawrence Wright allegedly stabbed Denise Pannell, 51, repeatedly in her Sheepshead Houses apartment on Batchelder Street.

Officers reported finding her naked and bloodied body on the floor after a neighbor called about a foul odor at 9:20 a.m. Saturday.

It was not immediately known what sparked the violence, but cops said the couple had been in a relationship.

Wright was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, they added.

A man found “unconscious” on an East New York sidewalk was, in fact, dead, doctors at Jamaica Hospital reported.

Police last night were withholding the man’s identity, pending notification of next of kin.

He was found in front of Whitey’s Car-Repair Shop on Atlantic Avenue near Hemlock Street at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.

EMS workers rushed him to the hospital, but it was too late. Investigators were awaiting autopsy results before announcing the cause of death.

A jilted boyfriend who just wouldn’t let the relationship go allegedly attacked a younger rival in Sunset Park.

When Bautista Octaviano, 31, learned that his ex was dating a 24-year-old, he allegedly ambushed the man, punching and kicking him in a building on 56th Street near Fifth Avenue at 11:20 p.m. Dec. 27, sources said.

The victim suffered facial bruises and an injury to the right shoulder, the sources added.

Octaviano was charged with assault, police said.

A young man who had allegedly broken into three cars in Marine Park was busted after leaving a bagful of stolen goods in a local store, sources said.

Mirsad Adrovic, 20, burglarized the vehicles near Marine Parkway on Dec. 26 and 27, according to court papers, taking a Canon camera, a Kodak camera and more than 100 quarters.

He stuffed the loot in a black bag but left it in a nearby computer-repair shop, the sources said.

Cops tracked him down and arrested him on charges of larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

A 15-year-old girl has been missing from her home on Decatur Street in Bushwick since Thursday morning, cops said.

Breinna Council was last seen leaving her home wearing blue jeans, a gray sweater and black boots.

A Bloods gangbanger wounded a member of a rival gang across the street from an elementary school in Graniteville.

Alonzo Scott, 29, shot the victim in the left thigh on Forest Avenue at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 3, according to court papers.

But when he allegedly pulled the trigger a second time, the pistol jammed, giving his target a chance to escape.

Scott was arrested and charged with attempted murder, police said.

This will put a strain on future family reunions.

A woman kicked off the new year by stealing jewelry from her mother and pawning it, officials said.

Natasha Wilk, 36, defied a court order to stay away from her mom by using a key to get into the Arden Heights home on Shotwell Avenue at 3 a.m. New Year’s Day and at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 3, swiping two white-gold rings with diamonds, court papers say.

She then hawked the bling at Crash Cash Jewelry on Amboy Road, the papers state.

And as required by law, she presented identification — essentially leading detectives straight to her doorstep, cops said.

She was charged with two counts of burglary, one count of petit larceny, trespassing, possession of stolen property and criminal contempt, they added.

A 51-year-old man yesterday leaped to his death in front of a subway train in Kew Gardens, authorities said.

Police said no criminality was suspected after the man heaved himself onto the F train tracks in the Union Turnpike station at 11:10 a.m. and was immediately crushed.

Cops identified him as Matthew Hoffman of Winchester Boulevard in Queens.

A teenager was arrested yesterday in connection with the armed theft of a man’s iPhone in Fordham Heights, authorities said.

Christian Juarez, 17, allegedly approached the 21-year-old victim on Creston Avenue near East 180th Street at about 9:15 p.m. Dec. 9, flashed a gun and demanded the phone.

He was charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property, cops said.
