Brawling twins killed in fatal car strike

A pair of brawling, hair-pulling twins were struck and killed in the street outside their Los Angeles home yesterday, officials said.

Tanisha and Tamaya Davis, both 31, were fighting in front of their Leimert Park home in central LA early Sunday morning when they were run over by a Ford truck, cops said.

One of the twins grabbed the other by the hair, dragging her into the street when they were fatally hit, according to authorities.

“My aunt said ‘Did you hear that screaming’ and we got out here they were lying [in the street] — the car had just turned around to come back to the scene,” neighbor Shay Denis told KTLA-TV.

It was not immediately clear why the twins were arguing.

The driver didn’t see the twins until the last second and didn’t leave, police said. No criminal charges are expected to be filed.
