Graffiti Romeo makes out

A Lower East Side man who gained brief fame last August after being caught on-camera with his gal pal — both in handcuffs — smooching outside Manhattan Criminal Court will serve eight days of community service after copping a plea to graffiti charges.

Russell Murphy, who was snapped lip-locking with Alexis Creque, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and possession of a graffiti instrument. He had been arrested for allegedly spray-painting a building.

“Ultimately, my client should be left without a criminal record and be able to go on with his life,” said Murphy’s lawyer Stacey Richman about a plea-deal provision that kicks in if Murphy stays out of trouble for a year.

Brooklyn photographer Mo Gerber had hoped the photo might win a Canon contest, but he couldn’t get signed releases from the lovebirds.
