Broke Dourdan blames ‘CSI’ for killing him off

In the history of celebrity excuses, this is a hall of famer.

Troubled former “CSI” co-star Gary Dourdan says he’s bankrupt because he was killed off the show three years ago — and the “diminished residuals” from the CBS series just aren’t enough to help him pay back his debts.

Dourdan, who played Warrick Brown for eight seasons on “CSI,” claimed in documents that he has $1.8 million in assets — but owes an additional $1.73 million, according to tmz.com.

Dourdan has a troubled history, including a arrest in 2008 for possessing narcotics and dangerous drugs.

Last year, an ex-girlfriend sued Dourdan, claiming he assaulted her and broke her nose.

Dourdan co-starred on “CSI” from 2000 to 2008. His character was shot to death at the end of the eighth season.
