College student stabbed within an inch of his life on New Year’s Day

A college student came within a millimeter of losing his life on New Year’s Day after a thug stabbed him in the neck near Grand Central Terminal.

The 22-year-old victim was heading home at 7:20 a.m. after a night of revelry when a pair identified by police as Carlos Munoz, 39, and Olga Concepcion, 48, asked to use his cellphone.

Munoz allegedly pocketed the phone and a scuffle broke out. Cops said Munoz stabbed the student in the neck with a serrated knife.

“He was within a millimeter of being dead,” said one source. He suffered a laceration to his jugular vein.

“My adrenaline was pumping and stuff, but I didn’t panic. I didn’t realize I was stabbed until I was in the hospital,” said the victim, who has recovered.

Munoz and Concepcion were arrested on Jan. 9, cops said.
