He flipped the bird, now he wants the dough.
A Manhattan man in suing the city for $2.1 million in damages for what he claims is a false arrest stemming from an incident where he gave a plainclothes detective the middle finger.
Aneury Peralta, 22, gave a cop the finger twice while he waited for a parking spot in October 2011, the lawsuit states. The piqued detective then shoved Peralta, flashed an ID card, and issued a disorderly-conduct ticket, it adds. It is unclear whether the detective was on duty.
The disorderly-conduct charges against Peralta were dropped, but he claims the cops came back for more.
While in his Harlem bodega earlier this month, Peralta said the police paid him a visit and nabbed him for “resisting arrest.” That second charge was also dropped.
