Jodie Foster will reveal paternity when ‘kids are 21’: report

The kids of “single” parent Jodie Foster will learn the identity of their birth dad when they grow up, a long-time family friend said.

The Rev. Beverly Bates, mom of late Hollywood producer Randy Stone, said Foster has “promised” to make the dramatic reveal to kids Charles, 14, and Kit, 12, at age 21.

Stone has long been rumored to be the boys’ dad. The producer and casting director passed away of heart failure on Feb. 122, 2007, at age 48.

“Randy told me that Jodie said she’ll tell the boys who their father is when they’re 21,” Bates told The Daily Mail in London.

“He said he could never tell me because Jodie was his best friend. He said ‘Mom, I can’t discuss this with you.’ He told me he had had to sign documents, it was a secret he took to his grave, that was how much he loved Jodie.”

Bates added: “He said ‘I can’t break my promise to Jodie’ — and he kept his promise to her.”

Foster, 50, was honored with a lifetime achievement award Sunday at the Golden Globes. She gave an odd, rambling address that seemed to hint at her sexual orientation.

“But I’m just going to put it out there, right? Loud and proud, right? So I’m going to need your support on this,” she said.

“I am single. Yes I am, I am single. No, I’m kidding — but I mean I’m not really kidding, but I’m kind of kidding. I mean, thank you for the enthusiasm.”

Bates said she hopes her son is Foster’s baby daddy.

“I would love to know if Randy is the boys’ father, I personally think he gave Jodie the gift, but she will never tell me,” Bates told the London newspaper.

“And Randy made an agreement with Jodie that he would never tell. I know the boys have red hair and freckles, that’s not from our family – but Jodie’s side.”

Stone was executive producer of “Little Man Tate,” Foster’s directorial debut.
