The Who: New York City’s newest girl-about-town, AnnaSophia Robb of “The Carrie Diaries.”
The What: Under a raw space decorated with a hyper-sized chandelier (that’s the second one this week after Jason Wu), Bendet delivered her usual vignettes with a superfun twist: daywear had luxe touches like a white fur top, a gold grommeted leather jacket and shiny, structured skirts with subtle pleats. Accessories were girly with a tongue-in-cheek twist: zebra-shaped purses, argyle-print hosiery (courtesy of a collaboration with Pretty Polly), and tiara-topped black beanies. But that’s the A+O girl’s way.
The Highlight: A red and black embroidered ballgown topped with a matching flower crown.
The Takeaway: Cher Horowitz meets gothic romance.
