SEE IT: Kangaroos delay play at LPGA Australian Open

Talk about ’roo-ining the day.

The LPGA Australian Open had a kangaroo delay Thursday as a pack of the indigenous animals traveled across the grass on the ninth hole. Golfer Karrie Webb had to wait for dozens of kangaroos to clear the fairway before continuing play.

Just Tuesday another golfer, rookie Daniela Holmqvist, was bitten by a spider she believed to be a Black Widow, removed the venom with a tee and continued her round. It actually ended up being a Redback, another dangerous form of the insect.

What’s next at Royal Canberra Golf Club? Crocodiles scaring spectators in the water hazard? Wallabys in the bunker?
