Two bungling brothers were nabbed for a botched carjacking in Bushwick after one accidentally shot the other, according to police sources.

Pablo Rodriguez, 33, and Eduardo Rodriguez, 30, were in front of a Getty gas station on Flushing Avenue near Varick Avenue when they got into a brawl with four people sitting in a parked 2008 Nissan Altima at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, the sources said.

The allegedly armed duo got everyone out of the car, and grabbed the keys from the driver before speeding off, the sources said.

But they didn’t get far.

Pablo allegedly drove about 200 feet before his gun went off, pumping a bullet into Eduardo’s left leg, the sources said.

Eduardo was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was arrested the next day.

The dimwitted brothers, from Douglaston, Queens, were hit with counts of criminal possession of a weapon and forced theft with a deadly weapon, among other charges.

The victim was leaving an L train at the Livonia Avenue subway station near Van Sinderen Avenue at about 4:10 p.m. March 4 when the thugs pummeled her and stole her iPhone, cops said.

They then fled the scene.

One suspect is between 14 and 16, 5-foot-8, between 130 and 140 pounds, and wore a black coat and blue jeans.

His accomplice is between 16 and 18, 150 to 160 pounds, and sported a black coat and sweat pants.

A heartless robber punched an elderly woman in the face and snatched her purse in Bronxdale, police said.

The brute approached the 70-year-old woman at 7:10 p.m. March 7 at Bruckner Boulevard and Lydig Avenue, hit her and grabbed her pocketbook.

He was captured on surveillance video counting her cash before he fled.

The purse also contained credit cards and a cellphone, police added.

The victim refused medical attention.

The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and a purple ski cap.

A thief broke into a Soundview garage and stole items from several cars that were parked inside, police said.

The burglar struck at around 12:50 a.m., Feb. 12 on Bruckner Boulevard near Manor Avenue, removed a metal pipe securing the premises, then looted the cars, cops said.

He was wearing a gray sweat shirt and carrying a black backpack.

A would-be thief tried to rob a Rosedale bank, cops said.

The suspect, in his 20s, went into a Bank of America branch on South Conduit Avenue and passed a demand note to the teller, but fled empty-handed.

The suspect is described as being about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.

A stranded motorist’s purse was stolen from her car in Flushing after she had locked herself out, authorities said.

The 50-year-old victim had parked on 39th Avenue near Main Street at 10 p.m. Feb. 5, accidentally locking her keys inside, police said.

While she was gone trying to get help, someone broke into the car and stole her purse, police said.

The thief made off with her credit cards, cash and iPhone, cops said.

Later that night, the credit cards were used at a grocery on Northern Boulevard and a farmers’ market on 31st Street.

Staten Island

A driver was arrested for DWI in Bulls Head, authorities said.

Mohsin Cheema, 28, was speeding down the West Shore Expressway near Glen Street at 2:25 a.m. Monday when a cop clocked him going 86 mph in a 50-mph zone, according to court documents.

The officer pulled him over, and Cheema blew a .17 on a Breathalyzer test, more than twice the legal limit, the records show.

“I had a couple of Heinekens in Atlantic City two hours ago,” Cheema told police, according to a law- enforcement source.

He was arrested for DWI, said a spokesman for DA Dan Donovan.
