‘Last’ man standing: Daly renewed

NBC has renewed Carson Daly’s talk show — just as rumors are swirling he could be replaced by Alec Baldwin.

The network late yesterday announced that “Last Call With Carson Daly,” which airs at 1:35 a.m., will return for a 13th season. Daly, who also hosts NBC’s “The Voice,” has been “Last Call’s” only host since its 2002 launch.

“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Carson,” NBC exec Paul Telegdy said in a statement.

The Daly renewal comes amid reports that NBC is talking to Baldwin — who’s still under contract after co-starring in “30 Rock” — about taking over the 1:35 a.m. timeslot once Jimmy Fallon replaces Jay Leno on “Tonight” next winter.

Saturday Night Live’s” Seth Meyers is the odds-on favorite to replace Fallon on “Late Night.”
