NFL: Marcus Vick in trouble again

A judge in Virginia has ordered the arrest of Marcus Vick after he missed a court hearing in a civil case. Vick was to appear at a hearing Monday in Montgomery County Circuit Court to explain why he missed a February hearing.

Marcus, the younger brother of Eagles quarterback Michael, was dropped from the Virginia Tech team in 2006 and the Dolphins released him in 2007.

The Giants brought Julian Edelman in for a visit and seemed to have a good shot at signing the talented punt returner/wide receiver. But Edelman will be re-signing a one-year deal with the Patriots, according to reports.

MLB: Red Sox record-setting sellout streak ends

The longest home sellout streak in major pro sports history ended at 820 games for the Red Sox. The official attendance in the 8-5 loss to the Orioles was 30,862. The capacity for night games at Fenway Park is 37,493.

The streak began in May 2003 and includes the postseason. Boston also placed right-hander John Lackey on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right biceps prior to the game.

NBA: Heat clinch homecourt throughout playoffs

Ray Allen scored 23 points for Miami, which committed a season-high 25 turnovers.

Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 47 points as the Lakers edged the Trail Blazers, 113-106 to move a game ahead of the Jazz for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. …Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks were eliminated from postseason contention with a 102-91 loss to the Suns. It is the first time the Mavericks have finished outside the top eight in the Western Conference since 2000.
