Miranda Kerr’s reign as Victoria’s Secret Angel is over: report

Victoria’s Secret stunner Miranda Kerr could be on her way out of the famed lingerie house.

Us magazine, citing unidentified industry sources, reported today that Kerr was suddenly let go by the company, which decided not to renew her three-year deal.

Kerr “has a difficult reputation,” Us reported.

But Victoria’s Secret chief denied the report and said Kerr is the “consummate professional.”

“Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business – and easily one of the most popular,” VS president and chief marketing officer Ed Razek said in a prepared statement.

“She is also a consummate professional. Any rumors to the contrary are simply untrue. While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we’d like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me.”

Razek insisted that Kerr is still a part of their stable of beauties — and will be a prominent figure in the line’s 2013 show.

“We have no plans to stop working with her,” he said. “In fact, I’ve already invited her to walk the runway in this year’s fashion show and, happily, she’s agreed.”

A Victoria’s Secret spokeswoman declined to discuss Kerr’s status and said, “all contract information is confidential.”

Kerr’s rep was not immediately available for comment.
