A ballroom-dance teacher who lost her left foot in the Boston Marathon bombings says she’ll not only dance again but plans to run in next year’s race — and will even appear on TV’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

And plucky Seattle native Adrianne Haslet-Davis, 32, hopes her optimistic outlook will be an inspiration to others facing adversity.

“I absolutely want to dance again, and I also want to run the marathon next year. I will crawl across the finish line, literally crawl, if it means I finish it,” she said.

But the Arthur Murray Studios instructor won’t have to wait until next Patriots Day to get back in the spotlight. She may appear on the ABC show as early as Tuesday, according to “Dancing with the Stars” host Tom Bergeron, who announced the invitation midway through this week’s program.

“We were all very moved by her inspirational outlook. We hope to be part of her recovery,” Bergeron told the audience Tuesday.

Haslet-Davis and her husband, Air Force Capt. Adam Davis, were both wounded when the second bomb went off feet from where they stood.
