VERNON, Conn. — A Kennedy cousin serving 20 years to life for a 1975 murder launched a scathing barrage yesterday at the lawyer who defended him in 2002.
Michael Skakel, 52,said attorney Michael Sherman failed to provide him effective counsel against charges that he beating his Greenwich, Conn., neighbor Martha Moxley to death with a golf club. Both were just 15.
Skakel says Sherman told him that he would “never see the inside of a courtroom.”
