Brenda Dickson — who originated the role of Jill Foster Abbott on “The Young and the Restless” during the Golden Age of soaps — says she ended up broke and homeless after being blacklisted from Hollywood by legendary daytime producer William J. Bell.
In her new book, “My True Hidden Hollywood Story,” Dickson, now 64, also claims Bell enlisted “Mafia cartel judges and attorneys” to ruin her.
Now, nearly 30 years later, “I am fighting back,” she tells The Post.
Dickson became one of the biggest stars in daytime when “Y&R” debuted in 1973. (the year this photo was taken).
The former Miss California claims she began an affair with Bell — who was more than twice her age — soon after, when she was just 21.
Dickson was fired 15 years later and says she has been blocked from working ever since.
Bell — who later created “The Bold and the Beautiful” — died from complications of Alzheimer’s in 2005 at age 78.
A rep from his production company declined to comment.
