Lindsay Lohan went on the lam in California yesterday after freaking out and refusing to enter court-ordered rehab — and prosecutors threatened to have the actress locked up as early as today.

“I don’t know where she is right now,” exasperated Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White told The Post hours after Lohan, 26, failed to check into a drug- and booze-treatment center.

“She’s already in violation [of her plea agreement]. I will go in and get a warrant for her arrest.”

Lohan arrived in LA yesterday on a private jet from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey — after missing three commercial flights.

She casually went shopping for an iPad at an Apple store and hit up another electronics shop instead of checking into the Morningside Recovery facility in Newport Beach, Calif.

“I’m totally concerned,” Lindsay’s father, Michael Lohan, told The Post last night. “I’m picturing my poor daughter in some hotel somewhere, or somebody’s apartment, afraid that she’s going to be put in jail tomorrow.”

Lohan must undergo 90 days of locked-down, in-patient treatment to settle charges that she lied to cops last summer after crashing into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway.

She lasted only a few minutes at Morningside yesterday before throwing a fit just a few steps inside.

“I don’t need rehab! I don’t need rehab! I don’t need rehab!” Lohan whined, before hopping back into an SUV and speeding off.

Unaware of the drama, her lawyer, Mark Heller, and White were squabbling over the star in court.

Heller made the surprise announcement that she was entering Morningside instead of the Seafield Center in Westhampton, LI, as originally agreed.

“My client is ensconced in the bosom of that facility right now,” Heller told LA Superior Court Judge James Dabney — unaware that Linday was actually at Fry’s Electronics in Fountain Valley, according to TMZ.com.

“She’s there. In fact, she is going to be meeting later today with a psychiatrist, and her therapy and treatment is undergoing immediate commencement,” Heller said.

White complained in court that he hadn’t had a chance to confirm that Morningside was an appropriate place for Lohan.

The judge said it appeared that the facility “would fall within the parameters” of Lohan’s plea agreement, but he would give White a couple of days to double check.

The California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs later said that Morningside Recovery was “not a licensed residential drug-treatment center,” and did not appear to meet the plea terms.

Her dad said Lindsay last texted him at around 8 p.m. last night saying, “Daddy I wanna go to Lukens” — referring to a treatment facility in Palm Beach, Fla.
