Brooklyn teen, cousin slain in Caribbean

A Brooklyn teen and her cousin were found shot dead in a swampy area on the island of Jamaica, sources said.

Francina Johnson, 19, of Canarsie, had traveled to the Caribbean nation to visit her relative, Nordia Fearon, 18.

Fearon’s body was covered with crocodile bites.

“Unfortunately, they got caught up with some unscrupulous people and paid the price,” a Jamaican source close to the investigation told The Post.

“It’s very sad for the family.”

Johnson’s body was found Saturday and Fearon’s was discovered nearby on Monday, the source told The Post.

It is believed that Fearon had died from a bullet wound before the crocodiles got to her.

Fearon was a student at the local Knox Community College, according to The Gleaner newspaper in Jamaica. In addition to her Brooklyn home, Johnson had an address on the island.
