TISCHES ‘SERVED’ WITH SUIT

One of New York’s leading power couples stiffed a personal aide who worked as a butler, chauffeur and caretaker at their swanky summer home, he alleges in a lawsuit.

James and Merryl Tisch cheated Miroslaw Drabik, 40, out of wages and overtime while he worked for them from October 2007 through May of this year, according to the suit filed in Manhattan federal court.

Drabik, of Flushing, Queens, claims he worked more than 40 hours a week for the fabulously wealthy couple, but they “knowingly and willfully failed or refused to pay” him for all his time, says the suit, which doesn’t specify the amount Drabik is seeking in damages.

James Tisch, 56, is president and CEO of Loews Corp., an insurance, oil-drilling and hotel conglomerate founded by his father and uncle.

Merryl Tisch, 53, is vice chancellor of the state Board of Regents.

Drabik could not be reached, and his lawyer, Robert Wisniewski, declined to elaborate on the suit.

James is a former president of the UJA Federation of New York, while his wife serves as chairwoman of the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.

Neither James nor Merryl Tisch returned phone calls. Loews spokeswoman Candace Leeds called the case a “personal matter,” and declined further comment.
