Suit by ‘Office Space’ guy ‘flairs’ out

A federal judge ruled Thursday that a lawsuit filed by an actor best known for playing an obnoxious waiter in the workplace comedy “Office Space” doesn’t have “flair.”

Manhattan federal Judge Paul Oetkin tossed the 2013 suit filed by Todd Duffey, who played Jennifer Aniston’s co-worker in the movie and sued 20th Century Fox Films and others for allowing his image to be used by the makers of “The Office Space Box of Flair.”

In the ’90s hit, Duffey’s character, Brian, wears various pins and ephemera he refers to as “flair.”

Oetkin found that Duffy’s contract for the movie allowed his image to be used for commercial purposes.
