Don’t miss

End of the line

It’s been quite a season for Don Draper (Jon Hamm, above right) on “Mad Men.” His ad agency was taken over by a bunch of Brits. He had another hopeless affair, this time with a former schoolteacher of his daughter, Sally, of all people. Roger Sterling (John Slattery, above left) made the painful transition from Don’s mentor to his rival. Pete Campbell was overlooked for a promotion. Don’s icy wife, Betty (January Jones, above center), found his secret box of photos and legal papers. She confronted him; he spilled. Then President Kennedy was shot and in the ensuing traumatic moments, she told Don that she didn’t love him anymore.

Guitar hero murders

Gwen Stefani will be watching “Criminal Minds” this week — her husband, rock star Gavin Rossdale (below), has a guest star role as a musician –— OK, did you think he was going to play an Amish cabinetmaker? — whose tour coincides with a series of brutal murders. The investigative team led by David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) discerns that Rossdale’s alter-ego, a frightening Goth perfomer, may be the prime suspect. This show is known for casting nice-guy actors (Jason Alexander and James Van Der Beek) in nefarious roles. This time, it seems they thought a musician would be the perfect choice for the role. Co-starring Thomas Gibson.

‘Anarchy’ rules

While the repo business proves more fruitful than the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club ever imagined, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agent Stahl (Ally Walker) gets up close and personal with the MC. Meanwhile, the antagonism between Jax (Charlie Hunnam, right) and Clay (Ron Perlman) forces Gemma (Katey Sagal) to make a tough decision.

Glam ‘Betty’

Betty renews a teenage crush when she runs into Bobby Talercio (Adam Rodriguez from “CSI: Miami”), a teacher at Marc’s school. Turns out Bobby used to date Hilda (Ana Ortiz) and Betty used to look on longingly. Well, now they’re getting along famously. Meanwhile, Daniel (Eric Mabius) introduces Amanda (Becki Newton) to the Community of the Phoenix, as he’s lured deeper into its clutches. Wilhelmina takes a drastic step to find money for Nico’s blackmail payment.

Something to Raver about

Katherine Heigl returns to “Grey’s Anatomy” this week after taking time off from the show to make a movie. Kim Raver, who has been on every TV show in the last 10 years, including “Third Watch,” “24,” and “Lipstick Jungle,” joins the cast as Dr. Teddy Altman, a cardiothoracic surgeon recruited by Owen (Kevin McKidd), a fellow Iraq War vet. Naturally, Cristina (Sandra Oh) questions Teddy’s abilities in the OR. Joel Grey also guest-stars as someone from Izzie’s past.
