A New Jersey town was full of hot air yesterday as Macy’s unveiled four new giant balloon characters for its 83rd annual Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Pillsbury Doughboy, Ronald McDonald, Spider-Man and Sailor Mickey Mouse will join parade favorites like Shrek, Dora the Explorer and Hello Kitty in the skies above Manhattan on Nov. 26.
The balloons, which took nearly a year to design and construct, were test-flown without a hitch by hundreds of handlers in a parking lot in the Meadowlands.
