Sabrina was more scandalous than anyone knew.
In her memoir “Melissa Explains It All,” out Tuesday, Melissa Joan Hart, the onetime star of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” reveals she posed nearly nude for lad-mag Maxim in 1999 while hungover on ecstasy.
While attending a party at the Playboy Mansion, she and some friends shared some X. Hart was with her crush Jonny Moseley, an Olympic skier, but spent the limo ride home making out with another woman. She only got 30 minutes of sleep before the photo shoot.
“On X, my tongue tingled and my libido surged,” writes Hart.
“I remember her being a little nervous. Showing up high was probably the best thing for her,” photographer Michael Zeppetello recalls.
After Archie Comics — which owned “Sabrina” — threatened to sue Hart for breach of contract, the then-23-year-old finally had a bad-girl reputation to have fun with.
“Good thing,” she writes, “they didn’t know I did it coming down from a high.”
Hart will be signing her book at Barnes & Noble at 150 E. 86th St. on Tuesday starting at 7 p.m.
