Douglas son gets a jail job

No longer spinning records, meth-dealing thespian Cameron Douglas could be pushing a mop or washing dishes for pennies an hour in a minimum-security Pennsylvania lockup.

The once high-flying deejay is “doing fine” at the federal penitentiary in Lewisburg, Pa. — his home until Dec. 16, 2013, Bureau of Prison records showed — a source told RadarOnline.

Douglas, 31, the son and grandson of Oscar winners Michael and Kirk Douglas, will soon be toiling away for a paltry 12 to 40 cents an hour, a prison spokesman said.

It’s not clear what job Douglas, who arrived in Lewisburg a week ago, will do, but it could be anything from food services to janitorial work, plumbing, painting, grounds keeping or electrical work.

In his spare time, Douglas can take advantage of the various penitentiary activities, such as biking, table-top games, bead making, crocheting, softball or basketball.

Earlier this year, he pleaded guilty to heroine possession and conspiracy to distribute drugs after being caught with meth and cocaine at a Meatpacking District hotel.
