Los Angeles police responded to call Monday reporting “shots fired” at the Musso and Frank Grill, a well-known Hollywood restaurant, Fox News Channel reported.
Police received the call shortly after 6:30am local time.
Local media reported Hollywood Boulevard was shut down in both directions near the restaurant.
Officers were interviewing an employee of the restaurant in the parking lot, Fox reported.
No further details were immediately available.
