Christina Aguilera canceled her entire U.S. tour Tuesday to give her more time to rehearse.
The “Dirrty” singer was due to kick off her tour in July, but promoters pushed back the dates until 2011.
Aguilera’s saucy comeback drew many comparisons to Lady Gaga. Gaga’s recent elaborate Monster Ball tour raised the bar for many artists.
But representatives for Aguilera said that had nothing to do with the tour move — citing the star’s heavy work schedule as the reason.
“The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible,” a rep said.
Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.
