12 hot women who set MTV on fire

Bobbie Brown — the star of Warrant’s 1990 “Cherry Pie” video — exclusively revealed to The Post her debauched days as a ‘’90s video vixen, including her crazy sex life with Tommy Lee and Leonardo DiCaprio’s massive manhood.

But she isn’t the only girl to have made her start in a music video.

The era of big-budget video production may be coming to an end but the last 30 years have seen countless female actors come to wider attention by getting attention-grabbing roles in promotional clips. Here, a dozen women that set MTV on fire.

Jeana Keough (ZZ Top, “Gimme All Your Lovin’,” 1983)

In this clip, Keough is the first of the three ladies to get out of the car at the gas station. (She also featured in other videos for ZZ Top, including “Sharp Dressed Man” and “Legs.”) More recently, you may have seen her as one of the original cast members of “The Real Housewives Of Orange County.” She should have stuck with ZZ Top videos.

Courteney Cox (Bruce Springsteen, “Dancing In The Dark,” 1984)

A full decade before she became a star through “Friends,” Cox became an icon for bad dancing during the end sequence of the “Dancing In The Dark” video. It’s now so famous that The Boss often recreates it when playing the song live.

Paulina Porizkova (The Cars, “Drive,” 1984)

At the time of shooting this video, Porizkova was a big-time model and Cars singer Ric Ocasek was already married. The two hit it off on set, got hitched in 1989 and are still together to this day.

Tawny Kitaen (Whitesnake, “Here I Go Again,” 1987)

She was the fantasy girl in a number of Whitesnake videos, most notably this one. Fantasy became reality for the band’s singer David Coverdale, who ended up marrying Kitaen in 1989. Back in 2006, she was a cast member in the much less glamorous “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.”

J-Lo (Janet Jackson, “That’s The Way Love Goes,” 1993)

When Jenny really was from the block, she made short appearances dancing in videos like this. Look out for her, starting at 1:57. Blink and you’ll miss it.

Angelina Jolie (Rolling Stones, “Anybody Seen My Baby,” 1997)

Sporting a buzz cut and a killer pout, Jolie made a name for herself in this Stones video. It was a footnote in the musical career of the band, but the start of a torrid on-off affair between Jagger and Jolie in which Jagger did all the chasing and Jolie famously left him exasperated.

Zooey Deschanel (The Offspring, “She’s Got Issues,” 1998)

She’s the archetypal kooky LA hipster now, but Deschanel was rocking the punk look in this early role. Gotta love the dyed red hair!

Kirsten Dunst (Savage Garden, “I Knew I Loved You,” 1999)

Playing the mysterious-stranger-on-the-subway role, Dunst looks pretty vacant in this clip. In fairness, the “Spiderman” trilogy star didn’t have much of a muse. Savage Garden were supremely lame.

Christina Hendricks (Everclear, “One Hit Wonder,” 1999)

She went on to star in “Mad Men” and here she is with a nametag that says “loopy.” Maybe it was a cosmic hint at the stardom to come, but most likely just a paying job for the then-struggling actor. There’s definitely no way she could have agreed to be in this video for the love of the music because Everclear suck.

Mila Kunis (The Strokes, “The End Has No End,” 2003)

At the time, Eva Mendes was the real star of this video but ten years later, it’s a great chance to see a pre-fame Mila Kunis. It’s also a nice reminder of what the Strokes were like when they were good.

Evan Rachel Wood (Green Day, “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” 2005)

Although she was already an up-and-coming star at the time, she played a great role in this moving clip alongside “Billy Elliott” actor Jamie Bell. Wood was engaged to Marilyn Manson at one point, but actually ended up marrying Bell last year. It was probably the better option of the two.
