Three people were killed this morning in a one-car crash on the Meadowbrook Parkway on Long Island, the state police said.
Two other people were taken to local hospitals. All five were camp counselors on their way to a day camp, Capt. Jamie kaminski said.
The accident occurred around 8:50 a.m. on the southbound parkway in Roosevelt.
Police say there were several people were in the vehicle.
